Our Products

Choose Certified Texas Farm-Raised Catfish to be the new delicacy on the center of your plate. We are very picky about quality! Each batch of catfish is flavor tested three times prior to harvest to ensure that our fish has the delicious, clean flavor that farm-raised catfish is supposed to have.

Our customers like the mild flavor, firm texture and white flaky appearance of Certified Texas Farm-Raised Catfish and the fact that our catfish is grown without hormones on a high quality grain-based diet. You can also feel good about the fact that U.S. farm-raised catfish is one of the most eco-friendly protein sources available. U.S. farm-raised catfish has even been named by the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch program as a "Best Choice" – their highest ranking for fish indicating that it is good for the consumer and safe for the environment.

Farmer OwnedCertified Texas Farm-Raised Catfish is operated by farm families. Because farmers own the processing facility and oversee the plant management, sales and marketing, you are assured that great care and attention is given to providing you the safest, most wholesome and tastiest fish throughout the entire production process.

Locally Grown - Our catfish is raised on diversified farms in Texas, by people who understand the land and the fish. Certified Texas Farm-Raised Catfish comes from 5 counties in the South Gulf Coastal Plains of Texas.

Minimal Antibiotics - Antibiotics are rarely used, and strictly regulated by the U.S. government. In fact, only one antibiotic is allowed to be used in the U.S. farm-raised catfish industry. This antibiotic is only used for therapeutic use. Due to water quality management on our farms, the use of antibiotics is rare. It is required by law to wait at least 10 days from the last application date of the antibiotics to harvest the fish to ensure that antibiotic residue will not be present in the filet.

Did You Know?
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, less than 1% of the imported fish coming in the U.S. is inspected. This figure is down 8 percent from 1992. More than 20% of inspected imported fish is contaminated and deemed unfit for human consumption by the Federal Drug Administration. Only 85 inspectors monitor the 6.6 million tons of seafood the U.S. imports annually.
